There will be a committee meeting at the Montezuma Community Center at 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 2. If you are a part of the committee now, please mark this on your calendar and be there for planning upcoming events, or if you would like to join us, we welcome everyone. With the way things have been through COVID-19, it has been a more difficult time for the center, and if you have not paid your annual membership dues, please do so now. We are also ready to start collecting membership dues for this year. Dues are $25 and can be mailed to Ann Moore at 2715 State Rt. 225, Henderson, TN 38340. We definitely need everyone to be proactive on this matter.
Montezuma sends out happy birthday wishes to Joyce Naylor on July 26, Will Brown on July 27, Luke Moody on July 30 and Justin Denbow on July 31.
Montezuma sends out Happy 51st Anniversary to Jackie and Carolyn Thomas on July 24.
With so much unrest in our country, I pray that each of you believers will be praying continually for the situation, our government and salvation for the lost. Please pray for Ann Morrison, Jessie Pugh, Teresa Burkhead, Brenda Williams Lambert, Linda Plunk, Vicki Rush, Kristen Daniel, Faye Crouse, Nancy Thomas, Ed and Betty Morris, healthcare workers and law enforcement. We especially want to remember the families of Susan Steed Hendrix, Mike Morton, Jo Ann Morris, Imogene Fitts, Jerry Bain and other families that have recently lost loved ones.
