Congratulations goes out to Joel and Megan Cox on the birth of their twins. The boys decided to make an early appearance at 27.5 weeks. Tavish Lynn Cox was born at 5:14 a.m. Aug. 17. He was 14 inches long and weighed 2.1 pounds. His twin brother Lachlan Lee Cox arrived at 9:44 p.m. Aug. 18. He was 14 inches long and weighed 1.12 pounds. They will definitely have stories to tell as they grow up as twins with different birthdays. We definitely want to thank everyone for the many felt prayers so far, and I do ask that everyone continue to pray for strength and growth for the boys.
All membership dues that were not paid for 2020 and the ones for 2021 are currently due. Dues are $25 per year and can be mailed to Ann Moore at 2715 State Rt. 225, Henderson, TN 38340. We definitely need everyone to be proactive on this matter since it may be a while before we can hold another breakfast event due to the rise in COVID cases once again.
Montezuma sends out happy birthday wishes to Andy Thomas on Aug. 26, Reba Croom on Aug. 28, Raven Croom on Aug. 29, Kathy Geary on Aug. 31 and Danny Thomas on Sept. 2.
With so much unrest in our country, I pray that each of you believers will be praying continually for the situation, our government and salvation for the lost. Please pray for Steve Morrison, Joyce Beecham, Doug Thomas, Joel, Megan, Tavish and Lachlan Cox, Ann Morrison, Jessie Pugh, Kristen Daniel, Faye Crouse, Nancy Thomas, Ed and Betty Morris, Healthcare Workers and Law Enforcement. We especially want to remember the families of Jeanette Lee Anderson, Margaret Newman Record, Perry Hearn, Jere Neal Wamble, families of Waverly Flood Victims and other families that have recently lost loved ones.
