Hello everyone! Again, I hope everyone had a very good week. The skies were a light blue-gray on Saturday, and the temperature was 86 though it felt like 94 due to the elevated humidity. The wind was slightly blowing. Our flowers and crops are coming right along. I have had zucchini and crookneck squash so far. I made some banana nut bread this weekend. Braelyn came up and said the house sure smelled good. Sweet. We are seeing our cardinals, finches and hummingbirds. I must add that the numbers on the Covid-19 are increasing, and, for the most part, it is one’s choice to wear a mask or not. Just be careful. Wash your hands and have antibacterial gel available. We wear masks. Just because someone appears healthy does not mean they are. A one year old in east Tennessee died last week from this virus. Younger people are experiencing this, too. I would rather be safe than sorry.
Rachel Ellington has returned home from another trip. She, Marla and Kendyl Davidson went to Alabama to see Sarah Utley Davidson graduate from Huntsville High.
Chester County Seniors had a parade and a drive by at the high school Saturday for people to meet the graduating seniors. Sunday, they had a baccalaureate at Lloyd Auditorium, and graduation was Monday night. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

Please say a prayer for those; even if you do not know their name, God does.
“May the Lord give you time and space to exhale your frustrations and breathe in His grace. May you transition out of work and into engaging with your loved ones. May He put you right, where you’re thinking wrong. May He bring clarity where there’s confusion. May you let go of the lies and lay hold of what’s true; even when it doesn’t feel true. And may you know God is Always with you.” – Susie Larson
I pray you all have a wonderful week, and may it be filled with love, joy, peace and blessings. Remember: if you have news, please email me at mimmiepots@gmail.com. We are not answering numbers we do not recognize due to the high number of robocalls. I would truly appreciate any news. People from here and those who have moved from our area but still want to keep in touch through the newspaper are hungry for news from home. Until next week, Happy Trails to You.
