with Vickie Ellis

I hope you all had a great Christmas time and enjoyed visiting with friends and family. The weather has been wonderful. I do think colder weather makes it seems more like the holidays, but warmer weather is nice and helps some people get outside and is a reprieve on winter bills for others. I went out and came in with a visitor – a small wasp had landed in my hair. In December! Now, I am by no means ready for those insects again. The weather forecast was calling for possible strong storms Sunday. Hopefully, you were spared.
The New Year is upon us. How many of you still make resolutions? How many keep them? I do not make them. I am not putting any more stress on myself. I just face the new year and day with hope and faith, knowing the Lord knows how His plan is to go. I don’t know, but I pray for happiness, good health and blessings for all. Happy New Year!
School returns for their first full day after the Christmas holidays Jan. 6, 2020. I hope each person enjoyed their time off and the holidays along with the true reason for Christmas – Jesus. I hope the rest of the school year is educational yet kind to you as students. I know many are looking forward to May and graduation. It will be here before you know it. Enjoy the ride.
Happy Birthday to Vickie Ellis, Jan. 2. Others were unavailable at time of writing will put in next week. (Regrets)

“There are things in life that just aren’t fair. There are horrible things that just don’t make any sense. FAITH that my God knows, weeps, and understands how hard all of these things are for all of us…gives me strength to know that HE is taking care of things; and that HE knows what the end results of our lives will be….me.” – Diane Ranker Riesen
I pray you all have a wonderful week, and may it be filled with love, joy, peace and blessings. Remember: if you have news, please call me at 983-0718 or email mimmiepots@gmail.com. I would truly appreciate any news. People from here and those who have moved from our area are hungry for news from home.

Until next week, Happy Trails to You.
