Have you felt the whisperings of fall? This time of year really excites me! I relish the cool breeze and the promise of changing colors and delectable treats. I love this quote by Laura Coffman – “Fall is a time when nature dresses in its many beautiful colors.”
Kevin and I celebrated our seventh anniversary on Sept. 12, and our daughter Willow celebrated her first birthday on Sept. 16. The theme of her party was puppy dogs. Her brother, Otto, has asked for “dog cake” every day since her party.
Frankie and Mary Lynn Lambert traveled to Guntersville State Park in Guntersville, Ala., for a few days. While there, Ed and Betty Burnett drove down from Huntsville to enjoy dinner together at the Park Lodge restaurant.
Mark your calendars for Saturday, Oct. 8. The fire department will be hosting a potluck meal as a fundraiser. Silerton Baptist Church is hosting a game night with a hamburger and hotdog cookout on Sept. 24.
