Continue prayers for Gary Siler, Mike Murley, Ann Hinson and Brenda Cooper.
Willard, Linda, Kevin, Melea and Otto Beshires celebrated Christmas at the home of Melea’s family in Knoxville. Christmas Day was very enjoyable. Four generations of Melea’s family were present. A bad Santa gift exchange, a great lunch and splendid fellowship were only some of the many highlights.
Oliver and Wanda Young, Richard and Leanne (Young) Willis and Nedda King had a safe and enjoyable trip to visit family and friends in Rutledge, Ga. They visited Oliver’s and Nedda’s sister, Mildred, and her husband, Gene West. They were pleased to get to visit with Gene and Mildred’s children and most of the grandchildren over the weekend. They also had the pleasure of spending time with some of Gene’s extended family, including a nephew who, like Oliver, is a Vietnam Veteran. Gene enjoyed getting to attend church with Oliver, Leanne and Richard Sunday morning while Nedda and Wanda visited with Mildred. Please keep Mildred and Gene in your prayers.
Barbara Lambert, Joseph and Rachel traveled to Indianapolis to enjoy the Christmas holidays with Barbara’s family.
Tracy, Becky and Brynlee Watkins traveled to Gatlinburg to see the New Year in. Traveling with them to Gatlinburg were Tracy’s parents, Billy and Michelle Watkins, and his brother, Thomas, and his family. Even though there were tourists everywhere, they enjoyed seeing the lights and fireworks. Becky stated that it was a beautiful firework show shot from the top of the space needle.
The Stack siblings gathered at the home of Walter and Brenda Cooper on New Year’s Day to enjoy Walter’s ham hock and all the side dishes. Ann Cooper and Betty and Ed Burnett were not able to attend.
It would be appreciated if you would call and share some of your news and thoughts or memories so we can stay connected.
