Hope everyone is managing to stay cool during the heat wave we are having. I have seen several little ones in Silerton enjoying sprinklers and inflatable pools to beat the heat. I always try to have sunscreen and a popsicle ready for Otto when he wants to go out and some for myself as well!
If you have not had a watermelon or cantaloupe this year, I strongly recommend picking one up. They are delicious this time of year!
Mary Lynn Lambert shares the following travel news with us this week:
Mr. and Mrs. Wilson and family spent a few days enjoying Six Flags over Mid-America in St. Louis, Mo., recently.
David and Jacie Reagan from Twin Lakes, Mich., spent a few days in Silerton with her parents, Lee and Frances Stack. While in Silerton, they also visited with other family members and some friends.
Kevin, Otto, and I visited the Lussier family this weekend in Lebanon. We enjoyed getting all the kids together to play. We also enjoyed a meal of smoked pork chops on Saturday night and hamburgers for Sunday lunch.
