Everyone asked me to remind them again about our upcoming stew/bake sale. It will be Feb. 12 with a snow date on Feb. 19. We are asking for donations of beef roast to go in the stew and also for some of your yummy baked items. It takes all of us working together to have a successful event. You may leave your roast in non-returnable containers at the center on Friday, Feb. 11, as well as your baked items.
The stew will be $20. You may preorder calling Neal Kinchen at 989-7342, Joann Greer at 989-7523, Cindy Springer at 989-7046 or Diane Williams at 608-2583. You must bring your containers for the stew which will be ready around 10 a.m. Potato peeling will be 4:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11.
For all those trying to stay ahead of those last minute folks on getting taxes filed, Diane Williams is open to preparing taxes from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday-Friday for walk-ins. For appointments or to drop off papers, call 608-2583.
Please check on the sick and shut-ins. If you have elderly neighbors, give them a call or stop by.
