Hopewell Baptist Church will be celebrating its Homecoming/Decoration Day service May 3. There will be no Sunday school that morning. Preaching will begin at 11 a.m. A meal will follow the morning service. The Wendell Owen Family will be singing when the meal is finished about 1 p.m. Everyone is invited to join us.
The Sweetlips Greenhouse is open for their 26th season. They are open from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from noon-4 p.m. Sunday. They are closed during severely bad weather. We are practicing social distancing – six feet apart – and are concerned about children being out and about.
Senior Research Data Base Analyst, Austin Springer recently received his Ph.D in Medical Computer Science. Austin graduated from the University of Arkansas in Little Rock. He was instrumental in recently creating a program concerning the coronavirus that would be checking anyone before they enter St. Jude’s, his place of employment. So proud of you! Do we now call you Dr. Austin Springer?
