Hoping everyone had a blessed Labor Day holiday. The Beshires and I visited Cayahoga National Park in Ohio. We enjoyed the scenic bypass looking at colonial style homes, and the kids enjoyed a short hike to a small waterfall. Willard and I joked that it was a Silerton waterfall. We all agreed the park was pretty but rather quaint in terms of national parks. We also enjoyed some good seafood on our trip including shrimp and grits and walleye and chips.
Mary Lynn Lambert shares some travel news from Bob and Carolyn Vales Kramer. “Bob and Carolyn recently traveled to Sheboygan, Wis., Bob’s home town. They enjoyed a week there, visiting with Bob’s family, eating out and just enjoying the sights. Sheboygan is a beautiful place to visit in the summer. The town is located on Lake Michigan with some beautiful beaches and water. Sheboygan River runs through the town, and there are many delightful restaurants, parks, music and other enjoyable sights and attractions.”
Congratulations to Willard and Linda Beshires! They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 8.
