Michael Raymond Rayford, 66, of Memphis, was arrested Tuesday, Sept. 29 and charged with rape of a child. According to the Chester County Sheriff’s Department, the alleged incident occurred several years ago and has recently been reported. Rayford is set to appear in Chester County General Sessions Court at 9 a.m. Dec. 15. He is held in the Chester County Jail in lieu of a $5,000 bond.
