Brent Dewan Carver, 38, Lexington, was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and simple possession of a schedule VI controlled substance. He was released from the Chester County Jail after posting a $10,000 bond.

Vicky Jean Ables, 55, pled guilty to counts one/two (merged), class B felony sale of methamphetamine over .5 grams, and was sentenced to 14 years in a TDOC facility at 35% service prior to release eligibility, to serve, receiving credit for time served pretrial. She was ordered to pay costs plus $2,000 in fines and $100 in restitution. All counts are concurrent with each other and with other specified cases. Total sentence of 14 years to serve with no work release and no post plea expungement.
