Samantha Melendez death under investigation

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the Chester County Sheriff’s Department are currently investigating the death of Henderson/Finger resident Samantha Melendez.
No charges have been filed and the alledged shooter has not been identified.
Melendez died Monday afternoon after a shooting at her home on Old Finger Road. According to TBI Public Information Officer Keli McAlister, no further information will be released at this point, as the investigation is active and ongoing.
