On February 17, the community held its Seventh Black History Program at the Chester County Senior Center. During the program, facts on accomplishments African Americans have made in American history were told and different artists in West Tennessee entertained the audience with their talents. Youth were encouraged to be inspired and keep working hard to chase after their dreams. Pictured on the right are the dancers from Mona Lisa Laniers Dancers. In the middle is artist Courtney Haynes as he paints a piece and pictured on the left is violinist Domonick Barconia as he plays for the audience. Photos by Kendall Patterson
