During March, several bad storms swept through Silerton and surrounding areas. Everybody continue to be safe and pay attention to the weather forecast this Spring.
As we enter April, I share a poem from Ogden Nash.
“Praise the spells and bless the charms,
I found April in my arms.
April golden, April cloudy,
Gracious, cruel, tender, rowdy;
April soft in flowered languor,
April cold with sudden anger,
Ever changing, ever true –
I love April, I love you.”
Do not forget that Silerton Baptist Church is preparing for their centennial celebration on Decoration Day May 7. It will be Silerton’s usual Decoration Day, the first Sunday in May. This year there will be a special program. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. The program starts at 10 a.m. Lunch will be served after the program. Debbie Dillard and church family say, “Come Grow with Us.”
