Southwest Tennessee Electric Membership Corporation honors scholarship winners

Southwest Tennessee Electric Membership Corporation announced the winners to their annual Washington Youth Tour trip. These high school juniors participated in the WYT Creative Writing and Scholarship Competition and won the top prize.
However, due to COVID-19 situation, the 2020 trip has been cancelled. In lieu of the trip, STEMC will give the winners a $1,000 scholarship each. Students additionally will be eligible for other scholarships from the Tennessee Electric Cooperative Association, Union University and Carson Newman Universities.
Chester County High School student Rilee Kat Vest was a local recipient.
