The Director of the Henderson/Chester County Chamber of Commerce, Blake Hopper, Chester County Mayor Barry Hutcherson and City of Henderson Mayor Terry Bell are pleased to announce the formation of an ad-hoc group titled “The Chester County America 250th Initiative”.
The group met for the first time on Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2026, to begin the intensive planning for the citizens of Henderson and Chester County to commemorate and celebrate the 250th birthday of the United States of America throughout the year.
The group is excited to begin the planning of many exciting events and actions with schools, churches, civic organizations, individuals, and commercial companies to get the entire community involved in celebrating America and what we as a country and as individuals have achieved over the past 250 years.
