Chester County’s 911 Communications Center was dedicated in memory of former director Patricia Ledford Friday, May 15. The day was not about dedicating a building, said Chester County Emergency Communications Director Chloe Gage, it was about dedicating a legacy. Ledford served as director of Chester County 911 for 13 years in dedication to the community and to the advance of emergency communications – locally and statewide and was most recently recognized as a recipient of the Clara Hitson award. Ledford died in December 2025 after a long illness. Her memory and legacy was celebrated Friday by family, friends and colleagues.
