The Chester County High School Eagles and Eaglettes traveled to cross-county rival Scotts Hill last Tuesday night. The Lady Eagles were defeated 23-35, with a record of 0-3. The Eagles were victorious, capturing their first win of the season 43-36. Their record stands at 1-1.

For the first time in the 2024-25 season, the No. 6 Freed-Hardeman University Lions eclipsed the century mark in a 106-68 rout of the Reinhardt (Ga.) University Eagles to close out The Show 2024.
The Chester County Eagles and Eaglettes played twice last week, losing both games at home against Crockett County. The Lady Eagles lost 19-53 and the Eagles were narrowly defeated 54-59.
They went on the road Friday night to Medina and squared off against the South Gibson County Hornets. The Eaglettes continue to look for their first win of the season, taking another one on the chin 18-53. The Eagles pulled out a nail-biter, winning 53-51.
The Riverside Panthers came to Eagle territory last Tuesday night and came away with two hard fought victories. Despite the loss, the Lady Eagles played their best game of the season putting 56 points on the board. They had averaged 25 points per game in their first five games of the season. They ended the night down six, losing 56-62.
Traveling to Madison Academic last Friday night, the Eagles and Eaglettes both took one on the chin, making for a winless week of high school basketball for Chester County.
The Lady Eagles are still searching for its first win of the season, losing 33-50 against the Lady Mustangs.
The No. 3 Lions of Freed-Hardeman University were driven down to the wire by a scrappy Life (Ga.) University Running Eagle team, but the men in maroon and white were able to hit late 3-pointers before sealing the 85-80 win with free throws.
Despite scoring the fewest points in a quarter all season, the (RV) Freed-Hardeman University Lady Lions had another big fourth quarter to keep their unbeaten start alive with a 67-45 victory over Life (Ga.) University in the first game of the Life U Classic.
The ever-improving Chester County Lady Eagles picked up their first win of the season against Scotts Hill, defeating them 44-41 in a close one.
The boy’s game was even more of a nail biter with the Eagles pulling out a two-point win 67-65 after trailing most of the game.

The Trinitiy Christian School Trojans came to Chester County last Tuesday night and swept two from the Chester County Eagles and Eaglettes.
The girls were defeated 48-23 and the boys lost 64-28.
The 2024 Chester County High School Eagle Football Team was honored last week at its annual Football Awards Banquet.
The Eagles are coming off the best season in recent school history, finishing the regular season 8-2 and taking the top slot in Region 6. They advanced to the second round of the state playoffs, losing to reigning state champ Pearl Cohn Entertainment Magnet High School from Nashville.
