A book talk and signing were held at the Chester County Library on April 30. The speakers were Kathy Bingham Turner and Leon Alligood, the authors of the book “Boss Brooks.” The subject of the story concerns Bingham’s grandfather’s life. It is a true story of fraud, family and forgiveness from Saltillo to Texas. It involves a vanishing act and a trail of deception full of compelling details. The authors were kind enough to answer all the audience’s questions, including a visiting couple from the state of Washington. The Library and the County Historian were given copies of the book.
