Leaders Credit Union hosted the Black Tie and Boxing in Jackson Saturday, Jan. 10, to benefit the STAR Center of Jackson. Chester County’s own Keith Busby brought in around $4,600 winning his fight of the night. Busby said Black Tie and Boxing raised $245,617.43 overall.
Busby said he participated because he loves what the STAR Center stands for and what they do, he also did it in honor of his uncle Bob Campbell who passed recently, who worked with the STAR Center. Busby also shared that his love for boxing began when he was a child after Rocky the movie came out.
Those interested in working with or donating to the Star Center may reach out to Busby at keithbusby80@outlook.com or Barry Summer at barry.summer@star-center.org.
