It will be a weekend for the kids in Chester County with back to back events Friday and Saturday for the Chester County Exchange Club – Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse.
Tennessee Championship Wrestling kicks off the weekend at Chester County High School Friday, March 14, presented by Neo Products and Hare Financial Group. Doors open at 6 p.m. with a 7 p.m. bell time. Tickets are $15 at the door. Admission for children 12 and under is free. A variety of concessions will be available and 100% of the proceeds from this event goes to the local Carl Perkins Center.
After wrestling for the center on Friday, the community will be “Dancing with the Chester County Stars” Saturday, March 15, at First Methodist Church for the 2025 Chester County Carl Perkins Center Dinner and Auction. Doors open at 5 p.m., festivities begin at 6 p.m.
Dinner and Auction will feature both a live and silent auction, live music, and the Dancing with the Chester County Stars competition hosted by Chester County’s Hunt Pipkin. There is still time to vote for your favorites in the Spirit Award competition – the most votes received prior to the event. Spirit award voting will close when the doors open Saturday. The People’s Choice award will be decided by the most votes received at the event.
This year’s Dinner and Auction is shaping up to be the biggest in recent years, according to Center Director Kirbi Fahs. “We are excited,” she laughed. “There will be entertainment from the beginning to the end!”
