The 2025 Carl Perkins Dinner and Auction is a wrap – and it wrapped up more than $25,000 to help protect Chester County’s children. The Exchange Club – Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse celebrated in Chester County Saturday, March 15, with “Dancing with Chester County Stars.” The annual event included live entertainment from host Hunt Pipkin, dinner catered by Besso’s and a dancing competition featuring local teams Andrew Fralick and Alayla Pickens (winners of the Spirit Award and Mirror Ball trophy), Nick Phillips and Teisha Nichols (winners of the People’s Choice Award), Lorenzo and Lauren Black, Ken Kitchen and Lakelin Lemmings and Dustin and Vivian Sanders. A live and silent auction featured vacation getaways, a voucher for paint/painting, home décor, photography sessions, vehicle oil changes, tools, a handmade bench and much more. Chester County Carl Perkins Director Kirbi Fahs said the event in total raised more than $25,000, all of which will be used in Chester County. The success of Dinner and Auction each year is only made possible by the vast number of people who contribute in so many ways. “Thank you to everyone who attended, supported, planned, donated or gave of their time or talents to make this event great,” Fahs exclaimed. “Together, we are able to make a difference in the lives of children and families right here in Chester County when they need it the most.” “We look forward to planning next year’s event and hope to see you there!”
