Chester County Soil Conservation office recently announced winners of the TACD Hand Drawn Poster Contest. The contest was announced in late August and closed on October 22.
The winners, all from East Chester Elementary grades 2 – 3, were first place Jordyn McKinney ($15 cash prize), second place Asher Williams ($10 cash prize), third place Rebekah Jones ($5) and Honorable Mention to Margo Endres.
Congratulations to the winners and CC Soil Conservation thanks McDonald’s for providing Free Meal vouchers to each of these students.
First place winner Jordyn will go on to compete with TACD for the state level in the 2 - 3 grade category and if Jordyn wins at that level then move to the NACD level. There are cash prizes available in both of those levels.
