CCI Intern Emma Richerson active in Sigma Kappa at Austin Peay State University

Emma Richerson, of Henderson, was a member of Sigma Kappa’s Lambda Iota chapter at Austin Peay State University during the 2025-2026 academic year. Richerson is currently working as a summer intern on staff at The Chester County Independent.
Sigma Kappa is a sorority that seeks to provide women with lifelong opportunities and support for social, intellectual and spiritual development by bringing women together to positively impact their communities. The organization’s philanthropic focuses include Alzheimer’s disease research, gerontology, environmental awareness, and the Maine Seacoast Mission.
APSU’s chapter of Sigma Kappa was founded November 4, 2017. Austin Peay State University’s Greek life community provides students with leadership and service opportunities alongside a community of students with shared values. Currently, APSU hosts 19 chapters under four governing councils.
