CCJHS hosts Best of the West Tourney; Eaglettes take runner-up slot

Chester County Junior High School was the host school this year for the annual Best of the West Tournament. The Lady Eagles defeated Lexington in the opening round 33-6 but lost the championship game to Hardin County, placing second in the tournament. The boy’s team was defeated by Lexington in the opening round 45-24 and also lost to Decatur County in the consolation game to place fourth in the tournament.
