The Chester County Junior High Eaglettes Softball team faced off versus Ramer last Thursday.
The matchup began with the score at 3-2 with Ramer having the lead at the end of the first inning.
During the second through fourth innings, the CCJHS girls played good defense to give them a shot at the lead, and during the fourth inning, they did so, leading 5-4.
Ramer unfortunately found a way to get six runs in the last inning to give themselves a five run lead.
CCJHS was able to score again thanks to a triple by Stella Pickens, however, they were only able to add one run to the scoreboard to end the game, 10-6.
Nevertheless, the Eaglettes bounced back this week with a win over the University School of Jackson in extra innings. The final score was 5-1.
