On July 8 and 9, the Chester County Fire Department sponsored a tuition free course called MGT 417: Crisis Management for School-Based Incidents for Key Decision Makers at Henderson City Hall. MGT 417 is DHS/FEMA-certified and provides recovery in the event of a school-based incident.
The two-day training included 50 participants enrolled from various departments and school systems from Chester County and surrounding counties. Attendees included first responders, school administrators, school and safety personnel, emergency management personnel, mental health personnel, community stakeholders, firefighters, the sheriff’s office and police officers.
