The 6U Boys Chester County All Stars Baseball team represented the Chester County community well at the dixie state tournament.
They were undefeated during pool play with a 17-2 win over Etowah and a 17-9 win over Kingston. Then, they started bracket play with a great win over East Hickman, 24-9. Following that game, they had a tough game against Adams but fought hard after being down 10-0 in the fourth inning and came back and won 13-12.
Chester Co. gained another win in the game versus Springfield, 14-4. Unfortunately, they lost the next game 20-12 to Pleasant View.
Their next game was versus district competition, Dyersburg, and it resulted in a 10-1 win that advanced them to the top three teams of the tournament.
Their state tourney ended after playing Pleasant View again, 17-7.
Congratulations to the team for making it to the top three in the state.
