Chester County deputy arrested, released on bond

A Chester County Sheriff’s Deputy has been arrested on charges of domestic assault, following an investigation by the Chester County Sheriff’s Office.
On March 9, investigators with CCSO began investigating allegations of assault involving 27-year-old Chester County Deputy Eric Talbott, of Henderson.
According to the arrest affidavit, a domestic disturbance between Talbott and his wife, Jessica, allegedly started when his wife said Talbott was intoxicated on March 7. She said that Eric had made accusations against her and became angry and started throwing dishes and other items in her direction. Jessica told investigating officers that she did not believe he was trying to hurt her.
The altercation supposedly continued until Jessica was eventually able to leave and went to her parents’ house to stay for the night. She told law enforcement she was not injured, and no visible injuries were observed by law enforcement.”
On Friday, April 11, Talbott was arrested and charged with domestic assault, false imprisonment and vandalism $1,000 to $10,000. He was booked into the Chester County Jail and released after posting a $2,500 bond.
Talbott resigned from the Chester County Sheriff’s Office on Friday, April 11.
