The Chester County Eaglettes dropped two road contests this week, falling to Hardin County on Tuesday and Lexington on Thursday.
On Tuesday night at Hardin County, Chester County struggled to recover from an early deficit in a 45–23 loss. Hardin County opened the game with a 20–2 first-quarter run and carried a 33–8 lead into halftime. The Eaglettes showed improved effort in the third quarter, outscoring Hardin County 11–5, but the early gap proved too much to overcome.
Kloe Taylor led Chester County with 12 points, while Savannah Williams added 5 points in the loss.
On Thursday night at Lexington, the Eaglettes turned in a stronger offensive performance but came up short in a 57–48 defeat. Chester County trailed 11–8 after the first quarter and 33–18 at halftime before making a second-half push. The Eaglettes outscored Lexington 30–24 in the final two quarters but were unable to complete the comeback.
Kloe Taylor led the Eaglettes with 16 points. Savannah Williams scored 8, Leura Rowsey added 7, and Alexis Rivers finished with 6 points.
Chester County will look to rebound next week as they travel to North Side on Jan. 27 — their only win of the season so far — before heading to South Side on Jan. 30.
