Chester County falls to Lexington

Posted

Chester County dropped its matchup with Lexington on Friday night, battling through a growing list of injuries. Several starters were sidelined, forcing younger players to step into key roles.
The Eagles showed flashes on offense, moving the ball both on the ground and through the air, but struggled to sustain drives. Defensively, they worked to contain Lexington’s balanced attack, but the Tigers found just enough big plays to hold the lead.
“As of right now, we have several starters out with injury. We must press on and find a way to get better,” head coach Dewond Johnson said after the game.
The Eagles will look to regroup this week, as their game against McKenzie has been moved back to Friday after originally being scheduled for Thursday.
