Chester County Health Council to host Mental Health Fair Saturday, May 6

Posted

Local agencies are cooperating to offer a free mental health fair for Chester County residents from 9 a.m. until noon, May 6, 2023, at the Henderson Church of Christ.
Chester County Health Council is hosting the event. Chester County Health Department and Freed-Hardeman University Department of Social Work are assisting.
“Chester County has so many resources,” Abby Gaines, a Freed-Hardeman University social work major working with the event, said. “But many people don’t know what is available to them.” This event has been planned to inform the public. Individuals will be able to learn about counseling services and rehabilitation centers as well as meet mental health professionals. Among the vendors will be Quinco, Pathways, Red Cross, FHU Counseling Services and Wo/Men’s Resource & Rape Assistance Program (WRAP). Snacks and door prizes will be offered at the booths.
Pre-registration is not required to attend. Additional information is available by contacting Mia McNeal at mia.mcneal@tn.gov or by calling the Chester County Health Department at 731-989-7108.
