Chester County High School Track athletes break records

The Chester County High School Track and Field teams have been running with goals in mind.
During the past two meets, school records have been broken by some of the runners.
On April 6, Bella Lamb earned second place and set a new record for the girls 3200 meter race with a time of 13:37. Then, last week on April 11, she broke it again, with a time of 13:24 and earned first place.
The same goes for the boys 4x800 Relay Team.
The week before, the 4x800 team of Silas McManus, Stewart Brown, Dillon Williams and Garrett Robison set a school record in the race with a time of 9:01 and beat their own record again with a time of 8:41.
Additionally, Williams set a school record in the boys 400 meter race with a time of 54 seconds.
During the April 6 meet, the boys track team finished second out of 16 teams at the USJ number three track meet. Other highlights from the meet include Stewart Brown getting second place in the 1600 meter race and 3200 meter race.
Scoring Points: Silas McManus in the 1600 and 3200, 4 X100 Relay Team, Dillion Williams in the 400 and 800.
The girls track and field team finished third out of 16 teams.
Scoring Points for the girls were Hanna Cherry, Bella Lamb, and Daisy McManus in the 1600, 4 X 100 Relay Team, Hanna Cherry in the 800, 4 X 400 Relay team.
When they had the April 11 meet, the Girls Track and Field team finished fourth out of 20 teams at the USJ Meet number four and the Boys Track and Field Team finished fifth out of 20 teams.
Stewart Brown finished first in the 3200, and Hannah Rich finished second in the Discus.
