The City of Henderson Board of Mayor and Aldermen will meet in regular session at 7 p.m. today, Thursday, Nov. 13, in the Council Chamber of Henderson City Hall.
In addition to delegations and other business, the Board will:
-Consider approval of a Certificate for Retail Package Liquor Store by Jay Madi Beverages LLC, owners: Pragneshkumar Patel and Kartik Patel for Oden’s Liquor located at 383 N. Church Ave. Mr. Patel is purchasing the current liquor store.
- and discuss upcoming funding rounds for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Fund and Local Park and Recreation Fund (LPRF) Grants.
To note, the city employee Christmas Lunch will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, and the Utility Offices will remain closed during this time.
Beer Board
The Henderson Beer Board will meet immediately following the regular board meeting to consider an application for a beer permit for retail package beer sales from Jay Umiya Foods, Inc., owners: Pragneshkumar Patel and Kartik Patel, DBA: Oden’s Marathon at 375 N. Church Ave., Henderson., as well as any other business.
