The City of Henderson Board of Mayor and Aldermen is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. today, Thursday, October 8, 2026, in the Council Chamber of Henderson City Hall. They will be meeting in regular session.
The Board will discuss changing their regular meeting time, and consider an ordinance amendment on the matter.
Demolition of four residential properties will be considered under the city slum clearance program. These properties are 473A and 473B Barham Ave. – Frank Winslow Fisher, Sr.; 327 N. Franklin Ave.,– Melvin D. Armstrong; 343 E. Third St. – Freeman Johnson (deceased); and 725 Fourth Ave. – Elaine Anderson.
In addition to delegations and other business, other agenda items include consideration of a resolution approving application for a recycling grant for a new recycle truck and a contract with Mid-South Tanks to clean and evaluate three elevated water tanks.
