The City of Henderson Mayor and Board of Aldermen are scheduled to meet in regular session at 7 p.m. today, Thursday, Aug. 14, in the council chamber of Henderson City Hall.
In addition to delegations and other business, the board is set to discuss the east lagoon, water treatment, fire department equipment and a matching grant.
Items on the agenda are as follows:
-review and consider awarding the East Lagoon dredging project to low bidder, Ohio Dredge, LLC
-consider accepting bids on a flocculator and flash mixer for the water treatment plant
-discuss and consider purchase of additional fire department equipment to be purchased with remaining funds on the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
-resolution approving use of Sourcewell Cooperative Purchasing Agreement for CDBG Fire Truck equipment
-resolution on NASPO Cooperative Purchasing Agreement for CDBG Fire Truck equipment
-consider resolution to approve the application for a Public Entity Partners (the city’s insurance carrier) Property Conservation Grant. The program has a 50% local match with a maximum grant amount is $2,000
-delegations, other business
