The City of Henderson Board of Mayor and Aldermen are scheduled to meet in regular session at 7 p.m. today, Thursday, July 9, in the council chamber of Henderson City Hall.
The Board will consider final action amending the 2025-2026 Budget to account for grant projects and other line-item overruns. Other items for consideration include bids received on materials and paving to be used until Dec. 31, 2026; replacement of the altitude valve on the East Water Tank and a resolution to approve application for a Safety Partners Grant through Public Entity Partners (the city’s insurance carrier) for employee safety. The program has a 50% local match with a maximum grant amount of $2,000.
A list of properties to be scheduled for demolition will be reviewed by the Board.
Additional items on the agenda include discussion of the status and possible options for the damaged Fire Engine No. 1, as well as any delegations and other business.
