Hello to everyone! First things first, let us thank the Lord for allowing us to see another week! For this is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it! I hope you had a great week. It is a blessing to be a part of your life one more time.
To a dear neighbor and friend, Ms. Sarah Johnson-Bain, please accept our deepest condolences at the passing of your brother, Mr. Thomas Mills, who passed on Aug 14. His family and friends called him Tom. Tom was a kind, hardworking man who truly loved what he did, especially working on cars. He was also a veteran who served during the Vietnam era. He will be missed by all who knew him, but he will never be forgotten. The gravesite service was held at New Friendship Baptist Cemetery in Beech Bluff on Tuesday, Aug. 18, and was conducted by Pastor Apostle Frank Holiday. Sarah, our hearts and prayers are with you and your family. We are lifting up Mr. Tom’s brothers, Michael Mills and Jimmy Cooper, and his sisters, Sarah Johnson-Bain and Debbie Cooper, as the Lord carries you through this season of your lives.
On behalf of Greater Evangelical Ministries, Inc., the members and Pastor Frank Holiday extend warm greetings and cordially invite you to join them for their Unity, Family and Friends Day at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 30, at 1854 Airport Road in Selmer. Their theme is “United in Love, Growing in Faith, Serving Together.” The theme scripture is Psalm 133:1 – “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” Please come expecting a blessed and powerful time in the Lord as we come together in fellowship, love and unity. Hope your schedule will allow you to join us on this special day. For more information, please contact: Sister Sandra Knight at 731-610-2805 or Evangelist Gloria Holiday 731-608-6132. Everyone is invited!
