The Chester County Commission will reconvene at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026 at the Chester County Courthouse.
The commission recessed the regularly scheduled Jan. 12 meeting to allow for more discussion on retention of the Chester County Fire Department director position which has previously been funded through a grant program. This position provides duties which support the Chief and department.
In addition to consideration of the CCFD position, the Commission will also hear on quarterly reports from the Chester County Board of Education, County Trustee, County General Fund and Chester County Solid Waste Department.
