Mid-South Youth Camp (MSYC) will welcome alumni, campers, families and friends to its 43rd Annual Fish Fry Fundraiser Saturday, July 25, from 4-6 p.m. at 260 Youth Camp Loop, near Henderson, Tennessee. Proceeds from the event will help support annual camp operations and ongoing campus improvements.
Tickets may be purchased at the event for $15 for adults, $10 for children ages 6-11 and free for children ages 5 and younger. The all-you-can-eat meal includes catfish or chicken, a variety of sides, a drink and dessert. Guests may enjoy their meal inside the Tucker Family Dining Hall or take advantage of convenient drive-thru service.
For more than six decades, MSYC has provided a Christ-centered summer camp experience for young people from across the region. What began as a two-week camp at Chickasaw State Park’s Lake Lajoie has expanded into an active 77-acre campus just off U.S. 45 South. Today, the camp, operated by Freed-Hardeman University, welcomes campers for eight weeks each summer and a weekend each fall, encouraging spiritual growth, lasting friendships and memorable experiences while remaining true to its motto, “a special place where good things happen.”
