Chester County Homeschoolers worked alongside Keep Chester County Beautiful and the City of Henderson Tuesday morning in celebration of Earth Day. Younger children spent their time picking up pine cones at Gene Record Memorial Park while the older students installed greenery around the Henderson City Hall. The day’s work crew consisted of nine kids, four parents and five staff members, including City Mayor Terry Bell. They planted two trees and 16 shrubs.
