Good morning from Deanburg!
I hope everyone had a good weekend and celebrated Palm Sunday. Pleasant Springs was decorated with palm trees. Now, we can look forward to Easter Sunday. This is the most glorious season for us as Christians. It is my favorite.
Deanburg wishes belated birthday wishes to Mariryan Howell, March 29; granddaughter Madalyn Quarles, March 30; granddaughter Rachel Morton, April 1; Rory Romero, April 2; Emerald Haynie, April 3; Tammy Thomas, April 6; Chloe Perkins, April 7.
Happy Anniversary to Debbie and Jimmy Grantham on March 30 from Deanburg.
Cellphone vs. Bible – “I wonder what would happen in we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phone? Carried it around in our purses or pockets? Flipped through it several times a day? What if we forgot it and returned to get it? How about if we used it to receive messages from the text? What if we treated it like we couldn’t live without it? Or gave it to kids as gifts and used it when we traveled or in case of emergency? Unlike our cell phone, we don’t have to worry about our Bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill with no dropped calls.”
Pray for all the bereaved families and for JoLiene Harris, Nancy Lofton, Gage Henley, Kelly Concialdi, Tony Concialdi, Giley Wright, De Rogers, Ann Lowrance, David Gilchrist, Heather Rose, Gwendolyn Parrish, Jean Lewis, Anactasia Chrisman, Bill Tulley, Gary Patterson, Tammy Brigman, Taryn Collins, Kathy Griffin, Mary, Carolyn and Orban Goff, Sandra Landers, Mark and Renee Landers, Bill and Lisa Cox, Ikie Cupples, Titus James, Tommy Mayo, Walker Cupples, Buddy Loflin, Stephanie and Darren Hatch, Dixie Mays, Monica Payne, Colton Haynes, Jerry Greene, Jeremy Howell, Keith Reynolds, Jerry and Ann Lowe, Kenneth Twyman, Chelesa Rodriguez, Clara Rae Brewer, our county officials, our county workers, the military and all those who keep us safe.
Please call me at 731-988-5122 if you have news to be included.
