April and May are very busy but enjoyable months with graduations and decoration days.
Granddaughter Olivia Bastin gave a recital at Belmont on Sunday afternoon. This is her senior year. There were friends and family from several states as well as Tennessee. One of the advisors said it was the most she had seen for a student. We are all very proud of her.
Deanburg Homecoming will be April 25. There will be chicken plates, hot dog plates and chicken to sell. There will also be a silent auction and karaoke. Flag Raising will be at 10 a.m., so be sure to come and bring the family.
On May 8, the Chester County F.C.E. will have a bake sale. Location will be announced later.
There is an ongoing renovation at Pleasant Springs Church. The sanctuary is looking so nice. Decoration Day and Homecoming at Pleasant Springs Church will be on Mother’s Day as usual.
