Deanburg Community News

Posted

Greetings once again from Deanburg. It has been a beautiful week.
Our birthdays this week are Selena Romero on Nov. 3, Shirley Mainers and Cheyenne Evans on Nov. 5, and James Arnold on Nov. 8. Happy birthday! I hope that you have a great day and that the next year will be full of blessings!
Please continue to pray for Woodie Deming, and Joyce Stewart. Remember our law enforcement, military, first responders and our great nation!
My Chester County High School Class of ‘65 had a great reunion Saturday. We were two years late for the 55th because of COVID, but we had a good time, and it just seemed like we were back in school. Loved seeing everyone. I will see you next year on the first Saturday in October.
Thank you to all that visited our Haunted Hollow this year. We really appreciate your support to help keep our community club going.
Devotion for this week: “Put Her First” - “‘For husbands, this means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church. He gave up his life for her.’ (NLT) (Ephesians 5:25)
“The second part is the challenge to all. Being loving is good but is your action the result of giving or getting? One way of showing your love is by encouragement. Encourage her in her good deeds even if it diminishes your pride. Put her first always like God did for us.” Download this app to get your daily devotions: http://www.jctrois.com/dailybibledevotion/devotion.html?devo=bEuf3Pvps7
Quote for living: “Accept yourself, love yourself, and keep moving forward.” (www.Parade.com)
I wish everyone a great week. Be safe and keep smiling.
