Dr. Rainey awarded fellowship in Pierre Fauchard Academy

Dr. Irvin Rainey, Jr., of Henderson, was awarded fellowship in the Pierre Fauchard Academy by the American Dental Association at the 2025 annual session of the Tennessee Dental Association in Nashville in May. Membership is given to dentists for recognition of service, leadership, contribution to dental literature and community service.
The Academy was founded in 1936 to honor the memory of Dr. Pierre Fauchard who was a physician who wrote the first dental textbook and is considered the father of modern dentistry.
Dr. Rainey is also a fellow in the American College and International College of Dentists that are also honorary membership awards to recognize service and other contributions to the dental profession.
Dr. Irvin Rainey, Jr. has served the mid-south dental community for over 48 years, supporting the American Dental Association, the Tennessee Dental Association and the future of the field of dentistry.
