Chester County used a big fifth inning to pull away Monday night and knock off Hardin County 12–2.
The Eagles jumped out early with three runs in the first and kept adding on before breaking the game open with seven runs in the fifth.
Braylin Robison had a big night at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two RBIs. Ethan Rhodes and Lane Estes also drove in two runs each as Chester County finished with 12 hits.
Ross Hopper added two hits and an RBI, while Elam Murphy chipped in a pair of RBIs.
On the mound, Estes picked up the win, going five innings and allowing two runs on four hits while striking out eight without issuing a walk.
Hardin County scored twice in the third inning, but Chester County answered and pulled away for the win. The Eagles also played clean defensively, finishing the night without an error.
