Lane Estes collected three hits in four at bats, as the Chester County Eagles easily defeated the Lexington Tigers 11-3 last Tuesday.
The Eagles won thanks in part to scoring seven runs in the fifth inning. Chase Garner hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored, an error scored two runs, Lane Estes singled, scoring two runs, and Caleb Cole doubled, scoring two runs.
CCHS jumped back into the lead in the bottom of the first inning after Lane Estes singled down the right field line, and Jayce Goff grounded into a fielder’s choice, each scoring one run.
The Eagles added one run in the second. Dean Estes singled down the left field line, making the score 3-1.
Jaden Weaver earned the win for the Eagles. He surrendered six hits and three runs over six innings, striking out seven and walking one.
Estes collected two hits for the Eagles in two at bats. Ethan Burks and Goff each stole multiple bases for the Eagles.
