Chester County honored its seniors Monday night by pulling away in the middle innings to beat Jackson North Side 11-4.
After the pregame recognition, the Eagles scored a run in the first and then broke things open in the fourth. Chester County sent several batters to the plate in that inning and turned a close game into a comfortable lead.
Lane Estes had a big night for the Eagles. He drove in four runs and finished with three hits, including a home run. He also got the win on the mound, going four innings and striking out six.
The Eagles’ offense was busy all night, piling up 15 hits. Ethan Burks and Ethan Rhodes each had three hits, and RJ Patel added two. Chester County also worked several walks and stayed aggressive on the bases.
Jackson North Side put together a few runs late, but the Eagles never let things get tight. Rhodes came on in relief and helped finish it off.
