The Chester County Eaglettes celebrated Senior Night in a big way Friday, rolling to a 16-0 win over Jackson North Side.
Chester County quickly took control, scoring six runs in the first inning. Aayla Howell got things going with an RBI single and the Eaglettes continued to apply pressure at the plate with a mix of hits and walks. Lyndsey Graves, Maryissa Burton and Leura Rowsey each drove in runs during the inning as Chester County built a quick lead.
In the second inning, the Eaglettes further extended their lead by scoring eight additional runs, effectively breaking the game open. Chester County showed patience at the plate throughout the night, drawing multiple walks and taking advantage of opportunities to extend innings.
Kymber Martin earned the win in the circle, working two and two-thirds innings and allowing just one hit while striking out five. Brentlee Burgess came on in relief to help finish things off.
At the plate, Burton led the Eaglettes with two RBIs, while Howell, Graves, Rowsey and Burgess each added hits. Karsyn Knipper reached base multiple times and drew three walks as part of Chester County’s strong night offensively.
The Eaglettes were also sharp defensively, playing error-free softball behind their pitching staff.
